What do participants say about the co-development groups?

Cynthia Desjardins-Kingsbury
Cynthia Desjardins-KingsburyStrong MDI
“In three words, here is what the co-development group brings me: comfort, sense of belonging, and innovation. The world of human resources is a constantly evolving field. Being able to exchange ideas and get input from my peers in the same field has brought me comfort when I needed reassurance on a decision, gives me a sense of belonging, and provides a ton of new ideas to improve or enhance our ways of doing things.”
Magali Mireault
Magali Mireault Fenêtres Lajeunesse
Here’s the translation of the quote: “In my case, it was my first experience with co-development, and I came out of it excited and equipped. The conferences and exchanges with colleagues were very relevant! Co-development allowed me to realize that, regardless of our different work environments, we all face the same realities and challenges. The richness of the discussions in the group often became a lever in managing my daily tasks.”

The application period is open! Professionals interested in participating in the Operations Management Co-Development Meeting can submit their applications by Friday, September 19, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Alliance Métal Québec members receive a $100 discount.

The project involves creating a collaborative space where people in Operations Management or Supervision positions can share their challenges, exchange ideas, and gain new perspectives to find solutions to the various issues raised.

During each meeting, participants benefit from two hours of training and one hour of co-development. Three hours of optional mentoring are also offered. Andrée Tousignant of Agili-T Human Resources has been entrusted with coaching and facilitating the meetings.

The six training courses feature the following themes:

  • Mobilizing Leadership: Staying Inspiring All Year Round
  • Influencing, Rallying, and Supporting Change
  • Daring to Be Civil : Countering Incivility at Work
  • Communicating with Difficult Personalities
  • Communicating Local Leadership: Decoding, Prioritizing, and Acting Under Pressure
  • Flexibility and Performance: Meeting Generational Expectations

The Co-development of the Operations Department is possible thanks to the financial participation of the Government of Quebec and the collaboration of Alliance Métal Québec.
